Happy Monday, Magi Families!
The school year is off to a fantastic start with excitement, collaboration, and strong momentum. Last week, the principals and I shared student spring testing data that showed significant gains in several areas over the past two years. Also last week, students completed wellness surveys, and our team is already working on ways to enhance support for all students based on their input. This progress is a testament to the hard work of our students, staff, and the positive work happening in our classrooms.
Two highlights from last week: our seniors presented homecoming community plans, and our 4th graders visited Thurston Woods to connect with residents. We’re incredibly proud of our students!
Last week, we assessed students in both reading and math at CES and CHS to gather baseline data. This information will help us provide personalized interventions and instructional support for students. During our professional learning session on Monday, September 16th, our staff will begin using this data to better meet student needs.
