Primary Families -

We are settling into our school routines, and it has been wonderful to see our students becoming more confident each day!

This week, classes have been practicing where to go and what to do during a fire drill. Taking time to practice ahead of time helps students know what to expect and feel prepared. Next Friday, we will have our first all-school fire drill of the year.

Our kindergarten students will be reviewing and celebrating colors starting next week, and we invite everyone at Primary to join in the fun! Monday is Red Day, so wear your favorite shade of red. Tuesday will be Orange Day, Wednesday is Yellow Day, and the colorful fun will continue from there!

Joining Your Child for Lunch

If you are planning to come, please give us a heads-up ahead of time by contacting Amy Odland so we can make sure lunch visitors can be accommodated that day. She can be reached at aodland@isd2144.org or 651-213-2202. If your schedule allows, we also encourage families to consider visiting Monday - Thursday rather than Friday. Fridays tend to be our busiest visitor days, and we have a limited number of tables available for families. Thank you for helping us plan ahead. We love having you as part of our Primary day!

Fire Safety

We are going to have a fire drill today at Primary to practice safe and calm evacuation procedures. This is a great opportunity to remind your child about the importance of fire safety at school and at home.

Family Resources & Support

We are fortunate to have a caring community that helps support our students and families. Through generous donations from the Knights of Columbus and other local community businesses and groups, we have a variety of resources available for families who may need a little extra support. Resources may include weekend food through our Backpack Program, winter gear, clothing, school supplies, personal care items, information about local food resources, and more.

Early Childhood

Early Childhood classes start today and next week! We are so excited to see our youngest group of babies and kids join our learning community. Here's our current schedule of classes, if you are interested in registering please visit our Arux page, send us an email, or call 651-213-2282.

1 Year Olds (class full): Mondays, 9:15-10:30 AM

Babies and 1 Year Olds: Tuesdays, 9:15-10:30 AM

2 Year Olds: Wednesdays, 9:15- 10:45 AM

Hallberg Center for the Arts every other Wednesday free art classes: 11:15- 12 noon

2 Year Olds (class full): Thursdays, 9:15-10:45 AM

Mixed Ages Friday Family Adventures, 9:15-11:15 AM

First section runs September 11- October 9
Second section runs October 23-Dec 4
