We are excited to announce an important meeting for all students traveling to Italy for Interim Term and their parents. This meeting will cover essential travel information, including packing guidelines, medications, and other important travel details. We will also review and collect the required Code of Conduct forms, which must be signed by both students and parents in order to travel.

Any 7th grader interested (and eligible) in serving in the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) for their 8th-grade year may stop by Mrs. Blackwell's classroom before or after school this Wednesday, 2/11, or Thursday, 2/12 to pick up an application packet. ALL packets will be due Friday, 2/20 by 3:30pm

NO LATE APPLICATIONS will be accepted.

NJHS will be going out into our community Wednesday, 2/11 to visit our partnering fire station. We will leave campus at 1:30pm and arrive back to school by 3:00pm. Wear NJHS T- Shirts/jeans or khakis.

NO TRACK PANTS.

Attention students and teachers! Our Pie in the Face Fundraiser for Prom is officially underway, and the competition is heating up! We are raising money for the Junior/Senior Prom, and things are about to get messy - in the best way.

Here’s how it works:

• We have 8 brave students and 4 fearless teachers who have volunteered to be potential pie recipients.

• Whichever grade level raises the most money will earn a FREE DRESS DAY

• During a special assembly on Thursday, February 12, during tutorials, one student from each grade level and one faculty member will get pied in the face!

Legacy will be hosting the CCAL (Coastal Christian Athletic League) Middle School Basketball Championships for both Boys and Girls on Saturday, February 14, in the Rec Gym and Dabney Gym.

We are asking for volunteers to please sign up for a one-hour concession shift to help make the day a success.

Games start at 12:30PM.

Letterman jacket packets are available for pick-up in Mrs. Short's office.

Sizing and ordering will take place Monday, February 23rd during secondary lunch.

Family Handbook - page 53: " Students have the option of bringing their own lunch from home, ordering from our provided vendors, or receiving food deliveries from family or friends ONLY."

Delivery lunch orders from any other sources such as CFA, Uber, GrubHub, Waiter, or individual restaurants that deliver are not allowed.

Reminder: Legacy has launched our premiere FACTS integration system so you no longer need to bring checks/cash to the office to pay for athletic fees, field trip fees, electronic fees, etc. All of these charges will be easily billed through the FACTS system. You will receive an email notifying you of the charge and the auto draft date. You will also be able to login to your FACTS family portal, choose the financial tab and view all of your tuition and fee charges at any time.

• For athletics, once the roster for a particular sport is finalized (end of the second week of official practice for the sport), we will send out the charges and payment notices.

To ensure responsible stewardship of school resources and reduce the significant costs associated with printing large volumes of handbooks, Legacy Christian Academy is transitioning to digital student handbooks beginning this school year.

We kindly ask all parents and students to download and review the appropriate handbook in its entirety.

The updated dress code policy, which will take effect at the start of the 2025-2026 school year, is available. These changes have been carefully considered to maintain our school's values while ensuring practicality and comfort for our students.

The updated dress code policy includes:

• A simplified dress code for both elementary and secondary
• Chapel Dress uniform is no longer required.
• As a senior privilege, seniors may wear Friday-approved attire every day of the week.
