SEPAC College Night
Monday, May 5 | 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm | Cafeteria
We are excited to announce the upcoming SEPAC College Night on May 5th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, designed specifically for families of students with IEPs and 504 plans. This event will provide a valuable opportunity for families to engage directly with colleges and learn about the services they offer to support students with learning differences.
We are pleased to confirm the participation of several colleges for this informative evening, where representatives will address important questions regarding how colleges assist students with learning differences during the transition from high school to higher education. Families will have the chance to ask colleges about available support services and resources. The following schools have confirmed their attendance:
- Bridgewater State University
- Curry College
- Dean College
- Johnson and Wales University
- Mass Bay Community College
- Merrimack College
- Middlesex Community College
- New England Institute of Technology
- University of Massachusetts, Lowell
- University of Southern New Hampshire
- Westfield State University
- Worcester State University
In addition to the confirmed colleges, we are hopeful that several other schools will join us for this important event, ensuring a diverse range of options and insights for attendees.
To help us prepare, we invite all attendees to submit any questions or concerns they have about the college transition process. These will be compiled into a document for the participating colleges, enabling them to better address the needs of our families. A second document will also be created, providing families with a guide of questions to ask about accessing support services.

- This application requires you to identify a teacher/counselor as a reference - someone who can speak on your behalf. You must notify this teacher/counselor prior to listing them on this form. This reference does not need to write you a letter of recommendation
- If you are applying for an internship outside at Davis or Lane, you must have your own reliable transportation. Transportation will not be provided by the school.
BHS Math Team @ States
The BHS Math Team competed against other medium-sized schools in the States competition on Thursday, afternoon. Students competed in six individual rounds and a final collaborative team round. The BHS team earned 50 points and came in 4th place out of 8 schools in our size-division!! The 6 students who represented us are: Owen Vasile, Anjie Chen, Milind Sharma, Alan Yang, Nileya Liu, and Jason Zhu.
We could not have made it to States without the contributions of all our competitors through the year: Charles Bing, Gianna Carrier, Ryan Liu, Matthew Macera, Rishabh Sudakar, Aanya Jain, Matthew Shin, Maggie Zhao, Ansel Chiou, Nisarg Joshi, and Cindy Yuan.
Community Service Hours
Community Service hours are verified weekly/bi weekly at the end of each week.
When looking at your hours make sure the date under the number of hours on your MobileServe homescreen says "All Time". Also make sure you look at the pending hours as many of your hours might be there waiting for verification.
New requests for access to MobileServe are also processed once a week, usually on Fridays.
If you submitted a form and used the app last year, you have an active account and DO NOT need to submit another form. If you forgot your password please use the password recovery on the app.
Many answers to Community Service questions can be found here on the BHS website.
Parental Consent Forms are found here.

Students Assisting Students: Spring Semester Drive for Care Bags
Your support and generosity are greatly appreciated for our donation drive. We have donation drives twice a year to coincide with the Fall and Spring semesters. Please consider selecting any of the items posted on the SignUpGenius and to contribute to the 300 care bags that we will create and deliver to the five post-secondary campuses: Holyoke Community College, Middlesex Community College, Roxbury Community College, Springfield Technical College, and University of Massachusetts Lowell. The five campuses offer support services to struggling students, and they always appreciate our continuous support as a community.
If you are interested in volunteering on March 30 for care bag packing, please email us to sign up. All volunteers (all ages) are welcome! Additionally, any high school students looking to earn community service hours, please consider volunteering on our packing day. For more information, please visit our website.

Reminders From The School Nurse
Seasonal Allergies
As most of you know, spring allergy season is upon us and I wanted to remind you to be proactive about your children's allergies. Please have them take their prescribed allergy medication before school, so they will be comfortable for the duration of the school day. Depending on the severity of the pollen allergy, those with seasonal allergies can feel pretty miserable and allergy symptoms can have a significant impact on learning. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.
Thank you.
