February at Knox!
Hello Knox Families!
The month of February flew by quickly!
Our musical theater cast is hard at work, preparing for their Spring performance of The Little Mermaid.
Many Knox students completed ELPAC testing and we are excited to see how many students will reclassify.
Our ASB planned some fun Valentine's activities for our Advisory classes and also sold over 300 roses!
We will be offering an after school dance program starting the week of March 14th. Please see the flyer below. There are only 20 spaces, so families must register online.
Reminders:
- ELPAC testing finishing
- All students have taken the Demi, FAST ELA, and CORE SEL assessments
- We have a late bus for tutoring every Tuesday. It stops at Baker and Balboa. It departs Knox at 4:35
- Minimum days are the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Thursday only.
- Please monitor your child's social media accounts (Instagram, Snap Chat, Tik Tok). Please talk to your students about their digital footprint and cyberbullying. Here is a parent resource:
Students must complete 5 articles in Achieve 3000 every month. Please see the video on how to access Achieve 3000 in this newsletter
