PVIS Family Newsletter
A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Community Partners!
PVIS would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Parasol in Pojoaque and Smokey Shack BBQ in EspaΓ±ola for generously providing dinner for our staff during Parent-Teacher Conferences.
We also thank Champions Before/After School Care and the PVIS Administrative Team for providing donuts, juice, and coffee, as well as the PVHS ProStart Class for preparing delicious cookies. The generosity and thoughtfulness made our staff feel appreciated and supported. We are truly grateful for our wonderful community partners and their continued support of PVIS!
π PVIS Parent-Teacher Conferences: A Great Success!
PVIS had an outstanding turnout for Parent-Teacher Conferences, with 178 families participating in meaningful conversations about student progress, celebrating achievements, and establishing new academic goals!
We are just 14 conferences away from reaching 100% family participation! If you were unable to attend last week, please contact your childβs teacher to schedule a conference. All students should have received their report cards and assessment data to take home. As an added incentive, teachers who achieve 100% family participation will be entered into a drawing for a GRAND PRIZE! π The winner will be announced next week!
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the families who completed their PVSD Impact Aid forms. Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to student success. Together, we are making a difference at PVIS!
Attendance Improvement at PVIS
Wow! PVIS is making improvement and lowering our chronic absenteeism rate. Thank you teachers for calling home and checking on our students! Thank you parents for sending students to school on time and for the whole day unless there is a medical appointment. Together we can reach our attendance goals. The PVIS PAC will be announcing the class winners of our October 16th Attendance Challenge!
