We're going to see "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood" November 26th

On Tuesday, November 26th, the entire Intermediate School is going to watch the movie "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood". This movie is a biopic about Fred Rogers and a journalist assigned to write a story about Mr. Rogers. Our wonderful PTO is covering the cost of transportation (Thank you, families!). Permission slips and fees were due to homeroom teachers by Thursday, November 21st. The messages in this movie will provide the themes for our Wednesday assemblies for the rest of the school year. A special thank you to Mrs. Jones for all of her organization with this field trip.

Emma's Honor (a message from one of our 5th graders)

If you have not heard about Emma, she was an 8 year old that had a brain tumor and passed away November 19th. We are trying to get all of the items on the wish list below to support Emma’s Family. Please share this list with anyone you know would participate. Please bring your items to school and place them in the box in the commons. You can also email svolley@uwalumni.com and she will arrange a date where we will come pick up the supplies if you can not bring it to school. Please make sure all items are new or not used. The collection will end on December 13th. The following link will let you learn more about the items to be collected. HAWS WISH LIST
