Arrival: Students can arrive from 7:55-8:20. Students are counted tardy after 8:25am. An adult is required to walk the student in and sign him/her in at the office.

Dismissal: Students are released at 3:00pm. Due to dismissal procedures, we ask that students do not check out after 2:40pm without prior approval from an administrator.

Transportation Changes: Transportation changes need to be made prior to 2pm. If it is a same day change, it must be communicated to the main office. Teachers may not be able to check dojo throughout the day.

Parents who signed up for bus transportation by July 25th should have received an email with bus route info. If you signed up after July 25th, they are working as diligently as they can to get students assigned to bus routes. Please check your email daily to see if you receive a notification that your child has been added to a route.

As the routes are adjusted to accommodate new riders, please allow a 10-15 minute window before and after your assigned time.

Please park in the parking lot in front of the school, or in grass areas around the entry road. Please do not park in the bus lot or block the traffic flow. We appreciate your help with this. If you choose to walk your child in, please sign in at the hallway table and get a visitor's pass.

We are excited to have new cones this year. The picture above shows our morning car line and afternoon car line (post fastpass). Please follow the traffic pattern established by the cones to ensure student safety. A cone means- do not drive in this area.

Car riders will dismiss at 3pm daily. For the safety of our staff and students, please follow the directions of any staff members helping with car line.

Important Reminders:

-Please remain in your vehicles (with the exception of students who need mobility assistance).

-Please follow the directions of staff members. To keep traffic out of Chub Lake Rd, they will be directing you to move up to specific cones before allowing your child to get in.

-Staff will open the car door for students to enter the vehicle, but they will not be responsible for buckling the student in.

We ask for your patience as the beginning of school year car line runs a little slowly at first. It will move faster once everyone is more familiar with the processes.

Staggered Entry Info:

Kindergarten students participate in Staggered Entry (with the exception of our students assigned to a separate setting EC classroom) the first week of school.

So parents/guardians can plan accordingly, please see below for which staggered entry day your child is assigned to attend. Teacher assignments will be determined after the two staggered entry days and teacher assignments will be communicated during the Meet the Teacher event at 1pm on 8/20.

First Day:

Kindergarten students will all start their staggered entry days in the media center. We invite you to walk your child into school on their staggered day and first day of school. Please park in the parking lot in front of the school, or in grass areas around the entry road. Please do not park in the bus lot or block the traffic flow. We appreciate your help with this.

Supplies:

Please do not send school supplies until Thursday, August 21st. On the staggered days, please send a snack (and lunch if they pack their lunch) and a change of clothes. All other materials will be provided for them.

What To Expect at Sign-In:

If you walk your child into school, you will be directed to sign in at a table in the hallway and get a visitor's pass. You will walk with your child to the media center where there will tables set up to follow some procedures to check in your child for their staggered day. With there only being two staggered entry days, we expect there to be a small wait to check your child in- we appreciate your patience.
