School Photo Proofs Are Here! Photo order cards and student ID cards have arrived and were given to MS students today. Ask your son for it! Student ID cards are useful for entrance to inter-school events. Photos can be ordered online from Green Apple Studio before October 12 using the webcode provided on the order card. If your son was absent when the photos were taken, he is already signed up for photo retakes on Thursday, November 12. If your son was present but wishes to have his photo retaken, please inform Ms. Beech so she can ensure that he is registered.

Progress Reports: Reports on student’s academic and conduct progress since the start of the academic year are expected to be emailed to parents the week of Oct 13.

Heroes vs Villains - Halloween at Selwyn: Students and staff are invited to dress up on Friday, October 30th for Halloween. Join in on this year’s theme of Heroes vs Villains and dress up as your favourite character or create your own superhero! More details about Halloween activities will be shared in the coming weeks.

Zipthru Card Activation: To obtain this optional card for your son, for use at breakfast service and vending machines, please follow these instructions. Students can present the gift certificate at the school cafeteria between 1:15-1:25 any day to receive the ZipThru card.

Uniform Reminders: In Middle School, a belt, school shoes, and SHS tie are required every day. Black or brown dress shoes are the required school shoe and should meet these requirements: Athletic shoes (including high-top sneakers and mesh running shoes) and running trainers are not permitted. However, low-profile, lifestyle leather sneakers that are entirely black (including the sole, laces, and logos) are acceptable.
