ALBERTON PANTHERS CRUSH IT AT SkillsUSA COMPETITION! ALBERTON PANTHERS CRUSH IT AT SkillsUSA COMPETITION!

The Alberton Panthers crushed it at the Montana SkillsUSA Competition last weekend! Eight students showcased their talents in Technical Drafting, Technical Math, Robotics: Urban Search and Rescue, and Welding Sculpture—including Camden Notley’s impressive dragon creation.

When the results came in, Junior Barrett Odell earned Bronze in Technical Drafting, and freshmen Evan Fehlings and David Sheer brought home Bronze in Robotics. Our Panther Middle School team—Mahlon Manson and Varuna Peeblson—clinched a repeat State Championship title and are heading to Nationals in Atlanta this summer!

These incredible achievements were made possible by the leadership of Industrial Arts and STEM teacher Nathan Morris and volunteer support from School Board co-chair Patrick Manson.

We’ll begin fundraising soon to help cover travel costs, which are expected to exceed $5,000. Donations can be dropped off at the school office with a memo for SkillsUSA.

Congratulations to all of our competitors, and best of luck at Nationals to our State Champion Panthers!

Forward Together: Alberton School Board Approves Bold Steps for the Future 💫 Forward Together: Alberton School Board Approves Bold Steps for the Future 💫

On Tuesday, March 25th, the Alberton School Board voted to move forward on several important initiatives that mark a strong step toward shaping a brighter future for Alberton School.

Most notably, the Board approved the launch of a Strategic Planning process—a meaningful opportunity for our school and community to come together, reflect on our shared values, and create a clear, purposeful roadmap for the years ahead. This process will invite voices from all corners of our community, ensuring that the vision we build truly reflects who we are and where we want to go.

In addition, the Board approved a comprehensive facilities review. This important step allows us to assess the current state of our buildings and grounds so we can thoughtfully plan improvements that support both student learning and safety for all students—now and into the future.

Together, these actions reflect a spirit of progress and collaboration. Alberton is moving forward with intention, and we’re excited to walk this path with all of you.

🌟 Let’s shape the future—together. 🌟
