Native American Heritage Month
American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month 2023

Our Mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to provide a high-quality education, and to guide children in living the Catholic faith
Dear Wildcat Families:
As we close one season of athletics, we prepare to begin another. Basketball practices begin Monday, and with that comes an important reminder regarding our expectations for student-athletes.
Academic performance and responsibility are requirements for participation in athletics.
Students with three or more missing/late assignments and/or consistently low grades may lose their eligibility to participate in the basketball season.
At Holy Trinity, academics remain one of the primary foundations of our students' future success. Athletics are a privilege, and participation requires students to demonstrate time management, accountability, and responsibility both in and outside the classroom. These expectations are consistent with the standards upheld by our public school counterparts.
Families should plan accordingly to ensure students are keeping up with their academic responsibilities throughout the season. Requests for extensions due to practices, games, or incomplete work during vacations will not automatically be granted. Students are expected to plan ahead and use their time outside of school responsibly. Our teachers are intentional about the amount of work assigned, and much of the work requiring additional time is reading, which can also be completed using audiobooks when appropriate.
We recognize that circumstances arise, and grace and reasonable accommodations will always be considered when warranted. However, flexibility should not become an expectation or a substitute for student accountability.
Our expectation is simple: Students who choose to participate in athletics must also remain committed to their academics!
We hold our students to high standards because we believe in their potential and want them to leave Holy Trinity prepared for success well beyond their years here.
Thank you for doing your part as their parents to support this,
Sammi
