SIS Garden SIS Garden

Mrs. McGinley’s fifth graders harvested pumpkins and watermelons this week! The pumpkins were part of a Statewide Horticulture Demonstration. Students found the mass of each pumpkin and checked for Melonworm and powdery mildew. The goal of the demonstration is to determine variety performance in Arkansas. The SIS garden had the most success with the Cinderella variety. The watermelons will be served in the school cafeteria.
