Tommorrow, Monday, October 6th, is World Day of Bullying Prevention, and the Ditson is joining in solidarity to STOMP OUT BULLYING by wearing BLUE and also reciting an anti-bullying pledge as a whole school! At the end of the day, students will bring the pledge home. We ask that you review it with them, sign it and return it to school.

We encourage all students and staff to wear blue to show our support for this important initiative.

Room 311 took a nature walk around the school after earning 100 tickets. We also took the opportunity while we were outside to finish reading Love That Dog by Sharon Creech, which is the 4th grade Module 1 mentor text.

Calling All Ghouls & Goblins!

Get ready to haunt the Ditson Parking Lot at our spooktacular Trunk or Treat!

Decorated trunks, sweet treats, and fun costumes await!

Date: October 17th

Time: 6:00 - 8:00 pm

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Volunteer to decorate your TRUNK and pass out candy (or support in other ways, like donate candy/decorations or help set up!) We're a little less than halfway to our goal of 25 decorated trunks!

Attached please find the application for Beacon Santa. Please complete the application and write a letter stating how Beacon Santa could brighten their holiday. The application, once completed, will also need to be co-signed by a designee from school (Principal, Asst. Principal, Licensed SW) prior to submission.
