This Six Weeks the AVID I classes celebrated Friday Fun Day with a Breakout Box game. The game centered around different forms of communication throughout history including hieroglyphics, Morse code and the Internet. There was a lot of laughter and the students are quite competitive even when you get them out of their comfort zone solving riddles. Congratulations to the winners in each class. #funinthelibrary

3D Printer got a work out! 3D Printer got a work out!

This six weeks the 3D printer was used by our World Geography class to create board game pieces.

The assignment was to create a board game complete with rules, cards and game pieces.

We had several requests to 3D print the game pieces. We worked with students to find the designs in Thingiverse.com or to create their own pieces using Tinkercad.

The results were awesome!

The 3D printer can be used by students and teachers to create objects.

Students can ask any library staff member and we can walk them through the process of selecting an object to print.

The library is the place to be, especially at LUNCH The library is the place to be, especially at LUNCH

The daily average of students in the library increased to 337 students per day. There is ALWAYS something happening here. Students love to play with the Lego Wall, Lincoln Logs, board games or just hang out.

New this month, Mrs. Bible donated a large "tumbling tower" game to the library.

Don't forget we have a Green Screen Room for students to use to record videos.

Stop by the library to check out all that is happening in here.

The library strives to provide a balanced collection that meets the needs and interests of all students. If the students are interested in the book they are reading, they are more likely to finish the book. The library staff promotes reading through creative displays and highlighting new books.

Research shows independent reading is the best way to improve your vocabulary which has a positive impact on test scores. It doesn't matter what they are reading as long as they are reading. #keepreadingbroncos #Life Ready
