e-Funds & Funding Lunch Accounts
We are asking that all outstanding lunch balances be paid promptly to support our programs' finances. Funding lunch accounts can be paid through e~Funds:
Here are a few helpful hints to get started:
You will need your child's lunch/student ID number to make a payment.
You can still make payments at the main office during registration days, or at any lunch room cashier but setting up an account and paying in advance will save time and give you an opportunity to see a breakdown of your fees in advance.

How to Check your Student lunch account transactions
You can still make payments directly to a Food Service Cashier at any school cafeteria with cash or check, but setting up an account and paying in advance will save time and give you an opportunity to see a breakdown of your lunch activity in advance. I would like to encourage parents and caregivers to have conversations with your student/s regarding you and your families lunch and a la carte participation. As a school requirement we can not deny a student taking a hot lunch, note that any hot lunch taken by your student/s will be charged to their account.

💛Heart-Healthy Choices 🧡
February is American Heart Month
February is American Heart Month, and our School Nutrition Department is proud to support students’ health by offering heart-healthy meals every day.
What Does “Heart-Healthy” Mean?
Heart-healthy meals include:
-
Plenty of fruits and vegetables
-
Whole grains
-
Lean proteins like chicken, beans, and turkey
-
Low-fat or fat-free milk
-
Foods lower in sodium, added sugars, and unhealthy fats
These foods help support a healthy heart, strong bodies, and focused minds.
Heart-Healthy Meals at School:
Our school meals are carefully planned to give students the nutrients they need to learn and grow. Families may notice:
-
Fresh fruits and colorful vegetables
-
Whole-grain breads, pastas, and rice
-
Lean protein options
-
Reduced-sodium recipes
-
Healthy beverage choices
How Families Can Help at Home:
Small choices at home can support what students learn at school:
-
Encourage fruits and vegetables at meals and snacks
-
Choose whole grains when possible
-
Offer water or milk instead of sugary drinks
Building these habits early helps children develop lifelong healthy eating patterns.
Thank You for Your Support
We appreciate our families’ partnership in helping students make healthy choices. Together, we can support heart health and overall wellness—at school and at home.
This February, let’s all focus on Heart-Healthy Choices for a healthy future!
The 2025-2030 Dietary Guidelines for America, released by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, emphasize eating “real food,” prioritizing protein and consuming full-fat dairy.
