KUDOS CORNER!!
Core Word Wall: in process
Kudos to Districts 130's Shawna Young. Shawna works in the Middle School ICP Program. She created this Build-A-Board out of the 5x5 Core Word Pics for Word Walls linked HERE. She simply used masking tape to tape off the cells so placement of the cards will be a breeze. This is the Core Word Wall in the creation phase.
Build-A-Board
This is how Shawna plans to use the board. She will add the words of the month to create a Build-A-Board. This will allow her students to hyper-focus on the words as they are presented while building on the words previously presented without distractions. Shawna's students have access to the full Core Vocabulary Board in other parts other classroom as well as their individual boards. Thanks for sharing, Shawna!
Arabic core board now available
Thank you so DLP's Sam Rahima for taking the time to tediously translate the English core vocabulary board to Arabic. See this link HERE for a printable version. It is also linked in the ALWAYS AVAILABLE folder HERE under the heading Universal Core Boards where you can find a variety of sizes as well as a Spanish and now Arabic translation.
