Hillside Happenings
April 24, 2026
Dear Hillside Families,
What an incredible week it’s been at our school! From the halls of our building to the adventures out in the community, our students have truly shown what it means to be a Husky. Between hitting the books and hitting the road, the energy on campus has been nothing short of electric.
Highlights from the Week
Field Trip Frenzy: The learning didn’t stop at the classroom door! Our students headed out for another week of field trip fun, exploring new environments and representing our school with pride.
Leadership in Action: Our recent Husky Huddle was a major standout. We were so impressed to see our student leadership shine, taking charge and inspiring their peers with such confidence and heart.
M-STEP Victors: A huge round of applause for our students who officially conquered M-STEP testing! They showed incredible focus and stamina. We are so proud of their hard work and "can-do" attitudes throughout the testing window. Makeup testing will continue over the next few days.
Celebrating Our Heroes: This week, we took a moment to celebrate our amazing office staff for Administrative Professionals Day. They are the heartbeat of our school, keeping everything running smoothly with a smile. If you see them, be sure to offer a quick "thank you!"
Looking Ahead: Science in Motion
The excitement continues next week! We are thrilled to welcome the Girl Scouts Mobile STEAM Lab back to campus for a few days. This "lab on wheels" offers our students hands-on opportunities to dive into science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Get ready for some serious "aha!" moments.
Thank you for your continued support in making our school such a vibrant place to learn!
With Gratitude,
Mrs. Maas & Mrs. Amos
