Good afternoon, Lion families,

This past week, our school celebrated our first Spirit Week. Spirit Weeks are more than just opportunities for students and staff to wear silly clothes; they help build a sense of community, camaraderie, and pride around a shared identity. The week culminated with a Pep Rally that recognized our fall sports teams, gave performance groups an opportunity to share some of what they have been working on, and created a strong sense of energy and connection across our campus.

At King, we are proud of what is happening on our campus. We are building traditions, celebrating student talents and accomplishments, and creating opportunities for our entire school community to come together. Spirit Week was a wonderful reminder that a strong school culture is built through shared experiences - and that there is a lot to celebrate at MLK.

We look forward to all that is to come. Please don't hesitate to reach out if we may be of any support.

Warmly,

Natalie Daniels (Principal)

Emily Rae (Assistant Principal)

Josh Thibodeaux (Assistant Principal)
