Beneke Parents,

As we head into the final week before the holiday break, we encourage all of our Beneke Bears to be present each day! Our teachers have exciting learning experiences planned, and we don’t want any student to miss out on the fun and important activities happening on campus.

Be sure to review all the upcoming events for next week so your family can stay up to date. We have a festive and joy-filled week ahead!

Al acercarnos a la última semana antes de las vacaciones de invierno, animamos a todos nuestros Beneke Bears a asistir a la escuela cada día. The Beneke PTO is at it again—it’s time for our 3rd Annual Holiday Shop with the Penguin Patch!

Our Beneke Bears will have the chance to shop for fun and affordable gifts during their lunch times starting:

Monday, December 15th – Thursday, December 18th
We’ll be set up right outside the cafeteria for all to see and enjoy a holiday shopping spree.

Shopping Hours:
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (during all lunch periods)

But that’s not all…
On Friday, December 19th the Holiday Shop will also be open during class parties.
We’ll move the shop to the front office area—you can’t miss us, and trust us, you won’t want to.

El PTO de Beneke lo ha hecho de nuevo. Es hora de nuestra 3.ª Feria Anual de Compras Navideñas con Penguin Patch.

Nuestros Beneke Bears tendrán la oportunidad de comprar regalos divertidos y accesibles durante sus horarios de almuerzo a partir de:

Lunes 15 de diciembre – Jueves 18 de diciembre
Estaremos instalados justo afuera de la cafetería para que todos puedan disfrutar de una divertida experiencia de compras navideñas.

Horario de compras:

Pero eso no es todo…
El viernes 19 de diciembre, la Feria Navideña también estará abierta durante las fiestas de clase.

Honored Schools Launches January 12!
We’re excited to share that our school is partnering with Honored Schools, a program that celebrates the incredible teachers who make a difference every day. Beginning January 12, 2026, students and families can visit HonoredSchools.org to share a story about a teacher who has impacted their life.

Each “Honor Story” will be shared directly with the teacher and featured on Honored’s national Honor Roll. At the end of the year, 2-6 teachers in our region will receive the Honored Schools Life-Changing Teacher Award, which includes a $2,500 prize.

Keep an eye out for flyers coming home next week—and thank you for helping us spread the warmth this winter by recognizing our amazing educators!

As stated in the Beneke Elementary Handbook, the latest time to check your student out for the day is 2:45 p.m. After this time, we will not release students, as our staff is focused on preparing for dismissal.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and efficient dismissal process.

Beginning Monday, August 18, 2025

All car riders must be picked up by 3:45pm. The school will call parents of students who are still on campus after 3:45. Upon arrival, parents must come to the front office to sign the child out. You must have your I.D. to sign your child out after 3:45 p.m. Spring ISD police and/or Child Protective Services will be contacted for any child that is left after 4:30 pm. Parents who arrive after 4:00pm 3 or more times will be required to find a different transportation option.

All car riders have a car rider number, and parents must have the placard issued by the campus to pick students up from the car rider line.

You may not use a picture of the placard to pick up your student.

If you arrive after 3:45 PM to pick up your student up from the front office with the car rider tag, show your ID, and sign the late dismissal form.

Please be courteous and follow the procedures when using the car rider line.

The traffic pattern is designed for cars to take turns, turning into the parking lot from Briarchase Dr.

Please do not form a third line down the center of the road to turn into the car rider line.

Walker A Parents, please do not block the entrance to the neighborhood. In the event of an emergency, an emergency vehicle needs access to the residents' homes. Therefore, you may not park on both sides of the entrance or the main road leading to the neighborhood.
