Our tardy bell rings at 7:45 am each day. Your child needs to be in the building prior to this time! Students who are consistently late, even if it is a few minutes, are still missing valuable class time.

Congratulations to Huston Thompson in Mrs. Calder's class! Her artwork has been chosen to represent HEART Academy in the Youth Art Month exhibit at the Huntsville Museum of Art!

Last month was Board Member Recognition Month and we had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Shane Black, our District Board Attorney. We would like to thank Mr. Black for his contributions and service. We hope that you will be able to come back and visit again very soon!

It's National School Counseling Week, and we are thankful for Mrs. Holland, our school counselor! We APPRECIATE you!!!

We are so fortunate to have an amazing Superintendent who ALWAYS puts kids first!! Over the last few weeks, it has been very difficult to cover classes with the number of staff members sick and lack of substitutes. There was not a day that went by that our Superintendent didn't check in at each school to see if she, or the staff at Central Office, could help. Several days last week we fell short and took advantage of offer. Mrs. Patton never hesitated to jump into the classroom and teach! This is just another reason why we are ONEATHENS!
