Trailblazer Times September 1, 2023

Hello Families,

Thank you for making our first few weeks so amazing! I wanted to give a few reminders about pick up and drop off. Please use the car rider line for drop off in the morning. We have limited parking places, and this takes up valuable parking space for our teachers when families park. This can also potentially slow down our car line, as we wait for students to cross. Also, students cannot be picked up in the back parking lot. This is a bus loading and unloading zone and is unsafe for students to be picked up. Furthermore, cars cannot park in the Westbrook subdivision to pick up kids. There have been multiple reports of blocked driveways and blocked trash cans on pick-up day. The Tontitown Police Department may be notified by neighborhood citizens. Lastly, for the safety of students and staff, Arkansas law states that a driver of a motor vehicle shall not use a handheld wireless telephone while operating a motor vehicle when passing a school building or in a school zone during school hours when children are present and outside the building. Thank you for partnering with us to keep our students and staff safe.

September Rollins Elementary Car Line Help

Rollins can use your help with carliine duty! Currently all the carline duty is performed by teachers and administrators daily. I believe our school community can come and help relieve them from some duty and or offer support along side them to make pick up and drop off run as smoothly as possilbe.
