GOAT's Weekly Update-October 23
Colorado Summit Leadership Academy 2026-2027
Colorado Summit Leadership Academy Families!
What an amazing Trick-or-Treat Street! Thank you for contributing to our candy competition and joining us last night for this annual celebration. Our staff loved seeing so many families, smiling faces, and fun, creative costumes. We think this was our best turnout yet! Thank you for making it such a special evening for our CSLA community.
Please read below for important information about next week’s parent-teacher conferences, Math and Literacy Night, and Scholastic Book Fair!
As colder fall weather arrives, please send your student to school with a jacket, hat, and gloves so they can stay warm during outdoor activities. We will continue going outside most days to give students time to move, play, and enjoy the fresh air. Thank you for helping your student come prepared!
Remember, Monday, October 26th, is a non-student contact day, so there is no school for students. Enjoy your three-day weekend—we look forward to seeing students on Tuesday!

Parent-Teacher Conferences: October 28–29 (3:30pm-6:30pm)
Parent-teacher conferences are coming up on October 28th and 29th from 3:30–6:30 p.m. both days! This is an opportunity to discuss your student’s academic progress, ask questions, and connect with their teachers.
PreK–Level 6: Teachers have sent out a conference sign-up form. Please sign up to reserve a time for your family.
7th–8th Grade: Teachers will be available in the small gym, and no appointment is needed. Stop by during conference hours to meet with your student’s teachers.
Conferences will be approximately 10 minutes per family with each teacher, including middle school teachers, to give everyone an opportunity to connect and keep wait times manageable. If you would like additional time, please call the main office to schedule a separate appointment.
Thank you for partnering with us to support your student’s success!
CSLA (K-5) Literacy and Math Night! October 28th & October 29th (3:30pm-5:00pm)
📚 CSLA Scholastic Book Fair: October 28–30
We’re excited to host two Scholastic Book Fairs this year! Last spring’s fair was a wonderful success, giving students and families the opportunity to discover new books and grow their love of reading. Your purchases also help keep our school library stocked with exciting titles students love!
Our fall book fair will run October 26–30. Students will preview the fair with their classes on Tuesday, October 27th, and families can shop during parent-teacher conferences on October 28th and 29th.
The fair will also be open during the school day on Friday, October 30th, for students who bring money to purchase books and families who missed shopping during conferences. Be sure to stop by before the fair closes at 3:30 p.m.
Come explore, find a new favorite, and help make reading fun for your student!
