WELCOME BACK!
We hope you had a restful and enjoyable Spring Break. As we enter the final stretch of the school year, we want to ensure that all students are set up for success. Please take a moment to review the important reminders and upcoming events below.
MOCK STAAR & STAAR Testing
We are quickly approaching STAAR testing season, and preparation is key! Our MOCK STAAR assessments will take place soon, providing students with an opportunity to practice and identify areas of improvement before the official STAAR exams. Please encourage your child to do their best and take these practice tests seriously. The actual STAAR tests will follow shortly after, and we will share exact dates and details to help you prepare.
Grades – Only Two Six Weeks Remaining!
We are in the final two six-week grading periods of the year. It is critical that students remain focused on their academics to ensure they successfully pass their courses. Parents, please check grades regularly and encourage your child to complete all assignments and seek help if needed. If you have any concerns, reach out to teachers, counselors or administrators for support.
Discipline & Dress Code
As we return, we want to remind students of the importance of maintaining good behavior and following school expectations. All students must adhere to the dress code each day, which includes appropriate attire as outlined in our dress code below. If you have any questions about dress code guidelines, please contact the front office.
Attendance Matters!
Daily attendance is essential for student success. Missing school can impact learning and academic performance. Please make sure your child arrives on time every day and remains for the full school day. If an absence is unavoidable, notify the school and provide any necessary documentation.
Cell Phones & Headphones
To maintain a focused and productive learning environment, cell phones and headphones are not permitted for use during the school day. Students must keep these devices put away unless given direct permission by a teacher for an educational purpose. Repeated violations will result in consequences per school policy.
We appreciate your continued support in helping us create a positive and structured environment for our students. Let’s finish the year strong! If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to our office.

Safety & Discipline
Our campus has a strong history of maintaining high standards for safety and discipline. Please review the KMS Character Log video to ensure your child understands the campus expectations. We want to ensure that we have a great start to the new year and all students are focused inside and outside of the classroom to the best of their ability. Please encourage your child to reach out to a trusted adult if they ever hear of any dangerous activity. Remember to "see something, say something." Also, please review the flyer below for more information on how to report unwanted activity on campus. Your support is appreciated as we work together to take care of our campus.
