Principal's Message
Dear Lucile Erwin Families,
We’re excited to welcome families the first week of March for our student-led parent-teacher conferences! This is a wonderful opportunity for students to share their growth and goals. In-person conferences do not require sign-ups, but if you’d like to schedule a virtual conference, please scroll down for the online signup link.
A huge thank you to our amazing PTO for supporting our staff with dinner on Wednesday evening during conferences—we deeply appreciate your generosity!
It’s also registration season:
Our 8th graders have done an awesome job completing their high school registration—way to go!
Current 7th graders will register for 8th grade February 24–March 1.
Current 6th graders will register for 7th grade March 2–8.
If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s counselor—we’re here to help! Please note that students will keep the same counselor as they progress through the end of 8th grade.

The Cupid Project
Our Wildcats showed what community is all about! Our 8th-grade WEB class teamed up with our 6th graders to create beautiful Valentine’s cards, posters, and paper roses for our neighbors at Harvest Pointe Senior Living as part of The Cupid Project. Even our 7th graders got involved by designing stunning table centerpieces!
The joy went both ways! To our surprise, the wonderful Harvest Pointe community made us cards and treat bags, and even treated our students to cupcakes and juice.
We loved sharing laughs, listening to stories, and building connections outside our school walls. It was a beautiful reminder that kindness creates community, and love truly goes both ways!
Future Ready Field Trip to Front Range Community College
Mrs. Corrigan's classes had an amazing time exploring college options and career paths at Front Range Community College!
The students got a special tour to look at:
- Trades: HVAC, Auto Mechanics, & Welding
- Health: Dentistry, Massage Therapy, EMT, & Nursing
- Arts: Music, Art, & Fashion
- Science: The Observatory Telescope & the Greenhouse (complete with resident turtles!)
They wrapped up the day with a group debrief and a visit to the beautiful Harmony Library. It was a great day to start dreaming big!
New Series Arrival to the LEMS Library
We are beyond excited to announce that the Cradle series and The Traveler's Gate trilogy are now officially on our shelves and ready for checkout!
These amazing books found their way to LEMS in a very special way. Mrs. Gordon met author Will Wight at a recent convention, and after she told him all about our awesome school and students, he graciously donated both series to our library!
A massive THANK YOU to Mr. Wight for his generosity and for helping us keep our students reading.
Come stop by the library to grab the first book in the series before it disappears!
