Warrior Way December 9-12

Hello Warrior Families,

As we approach the final two weeks of the semester, it is important to ensure your student is prepared for upcoming finals. Many classes will be administering finals this week, so please encourage your child to review and be ready. If your student has any missing assignments, now is the time to complete and turn them in.

Every minute counts at West Minico, and attendance is crucial. Please make sure your student is attending school every day to finish the semester strong.

This week, we are excited to have our choir and band concerts, showcasing the talents of our students. We also want to extend congratulations to our 8th-grade girls' basketball team for finishing the season strong. Great job, athletes!

We are thrilled to share some wonderful news! Thanks to a generous grant from Shoes that Fit, West Minico has been selected to provide new athletic shoes for 150 students in our school. This initiative will help ensure that all students have the proper footwear for physical activities and sports, supporting both their comfort and performance. Will will prioritize 6th graders and then move to 7th and 8th graders. If you would like your child to participate, click the link and fill out the form.

At West Minico, we know that every day in school counts. Consistent attendance is essential for student success and helps ensure that students stay on track with their learning. We ask for your support in encouraging your child to attend school every day, especially as we approach the end of the semester. Missing just one day can make a big difference, so let’s work together to ensure our students finish the semester strong.

If your child is absent, please make sure they are catching up on any missed assignments. We also encourage you to reach out if you have any concerns about your student's attendance, and we’re here to assist in making sure they stay engaged and succeed.

Thank you for helping us make attendance a priority!

Last Day to buy tickets for the shop fundraiser is December 12. Ask a student in shop - or call the office to purchase tickets.
