đ Football Game Day Safety Update
Beginning with our Homecoming football game on September 19, Schaumburg High School will implement a no-bag protocol for all guests at home football games. Bags and backpacks will not be permitted inside the stadium by spectators. In addition, fans are encouraged to remain seated in the stands to support our Saxons, we are reducing opportunities for large groups to gather near concessions, and no outside food/drink will be permitted. These proactive measures, developed in partnership with the Schaumburg Police Department, are designed to maintain a safe, orderly, and enjoyable game-day experience.
Please see this communication from Principal Tom Mocon for additional information.

Blessings in a Backpack
Last week, the Rotary Club of Schaumburg generously donated $2000 to Schaumburg High Schoolâs Blessings in a Backpack program, the food support extension of Hope Space. These funds will help provide our students with reliable weekend meals, easing the worry of food insecurity for families in our community. Thanks to this generosity, more of our Saxons can come to school ready to learn and grow. We are so grateful for the Rotary Clubâs kindness and partnership in supporting our kids. Special thanks to Abbey Warwick, Lorena Villagomez, and Kristal Smith in our Student Services department for their work in supporting this program.

Saxon Boosters Club
Hello Saxon families, and welcome to a new school year!
In recent years the booster club at SHS has been called V.I.P (for Very Interested Parents). This year the booster club is changing names and will now be called the Saxon Booster Club. With the name change, the booster club needs a new logo. The booster club will be holding a contest where SHS students can design a new image for the booster club to use. Details will be emailed to students soon!
In these first weeks of school, the booster club is already raising money. Just under 150 memberships have been sold to start off the year. Thank you to all who have purchased a membership or donated! The Saxon Boosters would love to reach a goal of 300 memberships sold this year. Purchasing a membership helps raise funds for the booster club and those funds directly benefit the students and staff at SHS. As an added benefit, many of our memberships come with passes that provide admission all year long to some athletic events. These passes are ideal for many families. For more information on what the booster club does, and to purchase a membership or make a donation click HERE.
The Saxon Booster Club meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7PM. Meeting dates are October 7th, November 4th, December 2nd, January 6th, February 3rd, March 3rd, April 7th, and May 5th.
Contact the booster club at saxonboosterclub@gmail.com with any questions!
