Pirate Post- 4/26/2026

What a great week this has been at East Minico.

I just want to take a minute to recognize some of the incredible things that happened and the people who made them possible. First off, a big shout-out to Mrs. Merrill for the work she put in with student council elections. That’s not an easy task, and she handles it with consistency and care every time.

We also had our track meet this week—and if you were out there, you know it wasn’t exactly ideal weather. Cold, windy, and not the most comfortable conditions, but our parents, students, staff and community showed up and worked hard anyway. Thank you to everyone who helped make it run smoothly, and to our track coaches for keeping things organized and positive for kids.

And then to wrap up the week, Jana Johnson’s orchestra concert on Thursday night was incredible. It was a great reminder of the talent and dedication our students and staff bring every day.

Weeks like this don’t happen by accident. They happen because of people who care enough to put in the time and effort. This is reflective of the buy in from parents, students and staff. That’s who we are as East Minico Pirates, and I feel lucky to be a part of it with all of you.
