Newsletter from NPHS - May 3, 2026
It's hard to believe, but we are getting close to wrapping up the end of our fifth year at North Point! THANK YOU for your continued support in making it another incredible school year!
** Seniors' Last Day is Tuesday, May 19 **
** 9th-11th Grade Students' Last Day is Friday, May 22 **
Graduation Program Sneak Peak
I know the end of the school year is a busy time for most families, but we have a quick turnaround time between when senior grades are due on Tuesday, May 19 and when our graduation program is due to the print shop on Friday, May 22. Here is where I need your help...I will be sharing a spreadsheet with all senior families by Thursday, May 21 (at the latest) that represents our most up-to-date information regarding seniors and their honors that will go into our graduation program. This will be your only opportunity to look over your student's name and the honors that we recognize throughout the district on graduation programs. You will have until 8 am on Friday, May 22 to let Mrs. Pardo and I know of any discrepancies or concerns you may have. Once they have finalized our program, we are no longer able to make changes. I appreciate your help. We truly do not want to make any mistakes and just appreciate another set of eyes looking over everything. If I have not heard back from you by Friday, May 22 at 8 am, we will move forward in finalizing the spreadsheet. Please remember to check your email for the spreadsheet!
2026 Final Exam Schedule
Senior Clap-Out at NPHS on Tuesday, May 19
Seniors - once you turn in your chromebook and pay any remaining fines on Tuesday, May 19 (seniors' last day) during 8th hour, we will have a Senior Clap-Out down the hallways of North Point one final time! The clap-out will start in our large gym at 2 pm. Seniors will travel down the 100 hallway, up to the 200 hallway, over to the 400 hallway, down the 300 hallway, and back to the large gym where we will have a countdown going on our scoreboard for your final minutes of high school!!!
Senior parents/guardians - if you would like to join us for the clap-out, please arrive by 1:45 pm, so we can get you checked in and lined up.
Senior Chromebook Collection & Fines
All seniors will report to their 8th hour class on Tuesday, May 19 for attendance. Teachers will then release seniors to the large gym to turn in their chromebooks, cases, and chargers as well as pay any remaining fines. The cost for unreturned technology items are $249/chromebook, $19.95/case, and $19.95/charger. These items are not covered by chromebook insurance. Please check the Purchase and Pay menu in the Focus App to view outstanding fines. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. O'Leary, our Financial Secretary, in room 307 or email her at jeannaoleary@wsdr4.org. Payments can be made by credit card through Focus. All cafeteria fines need to be paid, as well. Cafeteria fines can be paid through LunchTime in the Focus Portal or cash/check (made out to NPHS) by May 19.
Chromebook Sticker Removal
As we collect Chromebooks from seniors, many times there are multiple stickers remaining on their Chromebooks. Technology is asking that we remind students to remove any stickers that they placed on them (with the exception of the WSD Decal, Asset Tag, Name Label, or Building Sticker). This will greatly assist as we clean the Chromebooks up for other uses in the district.

Medication Information from Nurse Wilmes
As the school year comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to share some important information regarding the nurse's office and student health for the rest of the year and upcoming school year.
END OF SCHOOL YEAR - MEDICATION PICK-UP:
Please note that no medications will be stored in the nurse's office over summer break. All medications (prescription and over-the-counter) currently on file must be picked up by your child's final day of school. Any medication not picked up by this date will be disposed of in accordance with safety regulations.
LOOKING AHEAD TO NEXT SCHOOL YEAR:
We encourage you to review the student health requirements for the upcoming school year. Please
see https://health.mo.gov/living/wellness/immunizations/pdf/2027-school-requirements-ada.pdf.
If you are unsure if your child is up-to-date on immunizations, please contact Diane Wilmes at 636-445-5344 or by email at dianewilmes@wsdr4.org before 08/11/2026 to ensure your child will be able to attend on the first day of school for the 26/27 school year. You can also call your child's pediatrician or family doctor. All updated immunization records need to be turned into the school nurse's office as these do not automatically get sent to us by your doctor.
**Students participating in any school sponsored activities or summer school (in person or online) will need to be up to date on immunizations and have proof on file with the nurse prior to 05/22/26 to be eligible to participate.**
