Message from the Principal
🌸 March at SABE – Learning, Wellness & Community! 🌸
Dear SABE Families,
March is a busy and exciting month at SABE! As we move into spring, we continue to focus on strong academics, student wellness, and meaningful family engagement.
💙 ¡SOMOS SABE! – Family Engagement
Our ¡SOMOS SABE! Noche de familia initiative continues to strengthen the partnership between school and home. When families are engaged, students thrive! We encourage all parents to participate in upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and school activities. Your voice, presence, and partnership make a difference in our students’ success.
🩺 Feria de salud y seguridad
We are excited to host our SABE Feria de Salud y Seguridad (Health & Safety Fair) this month. This event will provide families with valuable resources related to physical health, mental wellness, community safety, and family services. We look forward to bringing together community partners to support the well-being of our SABE families. More details will be shared soon — we hope to see you there!
📚 Book Fair
Our spring Book Fair is also coming up! This is a wonderful opportunity to encourage a love of reading at home. Students will have the chance to explore new books in both languages and build their personal libraries. Every purchase supports our school and helps us continue promoting literacy across all grade levels.
Thank you for being an essential part of our SABE community. Together, we continue to build a strong, bilingual, and thriving school where every child can succeed.
Con cariño,
Mrs. Reyes

SABE Re-Enrollment for Returning Students
It is time to start planning for the 2026-2027 school year. In preparation, please secure your child's or children's seats for next year! This is the first step in registering for the upcoming school year. Updated registration packets will be requested of you in February.
Siblings to a student already enrolled at SABE are eligible for enrollment using this form. For example, if you have a child coming into Pre-K or K, they would automatically qualify and not have to be part of the annual lottery. Please use this form to pre-enroll your child or children for the 2026-2027 school year.

We Need Your Help
We ask that you please take a moment to speak with your child about appropriate behavior and bathroom etiquette at school. Bathrooms are shared spaces, and it is important that students use them respectfully and responsibly. This includes using quiet voices, keeping hands and feet to themselves, respecting others’ privacy, using supplies appropriately, and helping keep the space clean for everyone.

HELPme App
We are excited to introduce the HELPme app – a 24/7 support system for students and families.
The HELPme app empowers every member of our school community to seek support whenever they need it, while remaining completely anonymous!
Whether it's a student battling bullying, a family in need of food or shelter, or anyone facing a personal challenge – HELPme is here to support us.
The HELPme app provides three ways for our school community to ask for and receive help:
- GET RESOURCES is a safe space for users to explore essential needs and wellness resources at their own pace. It provides a confidential way to connect with local resources, ensuring privacy and dignity for those seeking assistance.
- CRISIS TEXT LINE provides users with immediate mental health support. With a network of 27,000+ trained crisis counselors, users can text with a counselor (day or night), making sure no one feels isolated in their time of need. Counselors are available 24/7, 365 days of the year.
- ASK FOR HELP is an anonymous communication channel between users and designated school personnel. It allows users to request help directly from their school without the pressure of disclosing their identity. Users may also request help for a friend or family member.
We kindly urge all parents to download the app. HELPme is not only a support system for your children, but also for YOU.
Getting Started with HELPme:
1. Download the app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Select your school from the dropdown menu or enter the code provided by the school.
3. Accept the Terms & Conditions.

🥫 SABE Community Food Drive Continues!
At SABE, we believe in the strength of our community — somos una familia. In the spirit of compassion and solidarity, we are continuing a SABE Community Food Drive to help support those in need. We are asking for non-perishable food donations such as:
- Canned goods (soups, vegetables, beans, meats, fruit);
- bags of rice, beans, or pasta;
- shelf-stable items like cereal, peanut butter, and granola bars; and
- gift cards to area grocery stores (Smith’s, Walmart, Albertsons, etc.)
Donations can be dropped off at the school office during regular school hours or sent in with your child(ren). Every contribution—big or small—makes a difference for a family in our community. We will be working with our Student Ambassadors to create meal packs from the donations we receive.
If your family is currently experiencing food insecurity or could benefit from assistance, please know you are not alone. We encourage you to complete our confidential Family Support Form here: https://forms.gle/u6PpoZEL7SMQyWkM8
A staff member will connect you with available food provisions and resources.
Thank you for showing what makes our SABE community so special: kindness, generosity, and care for one another. Together, we can make sure every family has what they need.
