Happy First Day of May and wishing everyone a fantastic Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Join us on Wednesday at 6pm for our STEAM Family Night.
Diverse perspectives strengthen education, according to Heather Singmaster's EdWeek article from November 2018. They broaden students' view of history and teach them to respect people from different cultures. This month, you have the opportunity to foster students' appreciation for Asian/Pacific Americans by celebrating Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
May is Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month - a celebration of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States (see the Asian-Pacific Heritage site for more details). Our country is the product of generations of hard work and determination from the millions of immigrants in our rich history.
