Prop S Information!! Prop S Information!!

On Tuesday, April 7, residents of the MVR-III School District will vote on a general obligation bond issue not to exceed $43 million. This measure will appear on the ballot as Proposition S.

Bond issues require voter approval of at least 57.14%. When approved, we will use the funds to make improvements at every school, enhance safety and security, and ensure our students continue having the learning environment our community expects.

Prop S will not raise property tax rates. Any increases in the amount of taxes paid would likely be the result of higher property valuations, not from an approved bond issue.

Wondering what the difference is between bonds and levies when it comes to school district finance and ballot issues?

👉 Bonds are for building and may include school additions, new buildings, as well as major renovations or repairs to existing facilities.

👉 Levies are for learning and may cover the salaries and benefits of faculty and staff, as well as textbooks, utilities, school and building supplies, food service, and transportation.

On Tuesday, April 7, voters will consider approving a no-tax-increase bond issue for the Meramec Valley R-III School District. You can learn more about the ways Prop S would invest in our schools and students at https://www.mvr3bond.org.

Summer School Registration!! Summer School Registration!!

Dear MVR-III Parents and Guardians,

Enrollment is now officially open for the Summer Discovery Program at MVR-III!

Summer Discovery is a completely FREE, four-week summer learning experience held Monday through Friday, June 1-30. We invite all incoming K-8 students to join us for a fun-filled month of STEM-based games, exciting field trips, and engaging activities!

What’s New This Year?

To make the process easier for our families, we have streamlined registration. This year, parents will log in to your Parent Portal to confirm information for all students in the household. This single login will prompt you to:

  1. Complete the required Annual Update.

  2. Register students for Kindergarten (if applicable).

  3. Enroll K–8 students in 2026 Summer Discovery.

Completing all three tasks at once saves you time and eliminates the need for multiple separate registrations!

Summer Discovery Sites:

  • Coleman Elementary

  • Nike Elementary

  • Zitzman Elementary

  • Pacific Intermediate

  • Riverbend Middle School

Important Deadline:

Please sign up by March 31 to guarantee your student’s spot. Enrollments received after this date will be placed on a waiting list.

To learn more about the program and begin your enrollment, please visit our Summer Discovery website.

We look forward to a summer of discovery with your students!

Best regards,

Meramec Valley R-III School District

2026-27 Kindergarten Registration 2026-27 Kindergarten Registration

Dear MVR-III Families,

Kindergarten registration IS OPEN!!

Because you are an existing family within the district, this will be completed through your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Watch this IC online registration video for a preview.

If you do not have your Infinite Campus Parent Portal set up, please contact your school building secretary for assistance. You will be provided a KEY, which can be entered on this Infinite Campus-New User webpage to create your account.

To make the process as easy and efficient as possible for families, the district has streamlined registration so you can take care of several important tasks at the same time.

Through a single login in Infinite Campus, you can confirm information for all students in your household, which will complete your:

  • required Annual Update,
  • register your child for kindergarten (if applicable),
  • and enroll K–8 students in 2026 Summer Discovery.

Completing all three tasks at once saves time and eliminates the need to complete separate registrations.

***An email from the district was sent out with exact directions - if you did not receive it but would like me to send it your way please reach out to me or our school office!***

Learn About Prop S

On Tuesday, April 7, our community will vote on Proposition S—a $43 million general obligation bond issue for the Meramec Valley R-III School District. 🗳️

Watch the Bond Explainer Video to learn more about Prop S: MVR-III Prop S Bond Video #2

This measure WILL NOT raise property taxes when approved and will provide the funds for improvements at all of our campuses and the construction of a new middle school to replace Pacific Intermediate.

The proposal is the result of a multi-year effort by the Board of Education and the administration to identify solutions to our most pressing facility needs while not placing additional burden on property taxpayers.

PROPOSITION S: SAFE

SCHOOLS FOR A STRONG FUTURE

On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, residents of the Meramec Valley R-III School District will vote on a $43 million general obligation bond issue.

The proposed measure will appear on ballots as Proposition S. If it’s approved by at least 57.14% of voters, approximately $38 million of the bond’s total would be used to construct a new energy-efficient middle school with a storm shelter to replace Pacific Intermediate.

MVR-III property taxpayers WOULD NOT see property tax rates increase because of an approved bond issue.
