Miller Trust Estate Scholarship Deadline is Approaching Quickly
Applications must be postmarked no later than April 15. Applications may be picked up in the office and must be sent to:

Tuesday, April 15 JH Track will be going to Iola for a track meet. They need to be at school by 7:15 a.m. and the bus will leave promptly at 7:30 a.m.

All Jayhawk Applications may be picked up in the office and must be returned by April 25.
The following qualifications must be met to earn the highest honor at Jayhawk Linn Jr/Sr High School as listed in the Course Guide:
3.5 GPA (each semester)
Regular attendance - 6 absences (42 classroom absences) or less (all year)
4 tardies or less
No more than one office referral
No ISS or OSS
Involved in two or more Jayhawk Activities/Organizations

State Assessment Information
Dear Jayhawk-Linn Families,
We completed Math state assessments this week. We will finish the testing cycle with ELA assessments on April 15 and April 17. We want to emphasize the importance of these tests in measuring student growth and guiding our instructional practices. Your support in helping students do their best is greatly appreciated.
To ensure students are prepared and ready to succeed, we encourage the following:
✅ Be at school – Attendance is crucial. Please make every effort to have your child present on testing days.
✅ Get plenty of rest – A good night’s sleep helps with focus and performance.
✅ Eat a healthy breakfast – A nutritious start to the day fuels the brain for success.
✅ Encourage a positive mindset – Remind your child to do their best and stay confident.

REALITY U - APRIL 24, 2025
We are excited to announce that Reality U is just around the corner, and we are looking for volunteers to make this event a success. Reality U is a financial literacy program for middle and high school students that helps them understand the challenges of adulthood. The program uses a 75-minute simulation to teach students how their current choices can impact their future.If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, please contact Stephanie Nichols at snichols@usd346.org or 913-795-2247.
