School Picture Day: Monday, August 29

Picture day for all Central High juniors, sophomores, and freshmen is scheduled for Monday, August 29, 2022. Wagner Portrait Group will be at PCH to photograph students for portrait packages & school records. Student pictures will be taken during English classes. ONLY ONLINE ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED -- Please do not bring checks, cash, or order forms to school as they will no longer be accepted. Click on the button below to place your order. Student Parking for 2022-2023

PCH parking passes for the 2022-2023 school year are now available for purchase for Central High seniors and juniors through the Parent Portal in Infinite Campus. Parking passes are $85 for the school year and are now available for pick up in the school store. All student drivers are expected to follow all expectations for student drivers, including displaying their school issued parking pass in their vehicle by the start of school on Monday, August 29.

Student drivers are expected to park in either the Main Lot or the East Lot (closest to Woods Mill). PCH students are PROHIBITED from parking in all other areas on campus, including all driveway and parking lots connected to Central High, Central Middle, Parkway Administration and Parkway Facilities.

Parking on campus without a school issued parking pass, or failure to follow the expectations for student drivers, is a violation of the student discipline policy and may result in a fine and / or disciplinary consequences.

Unfortunately, sophomores and freshmen and are not elegible to park on campus. Thank you, in advance, for your understanding and cooperation.

Open House: Thursday, September 8

Central High's 2022 Open House is scheduled for Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 6:30 pm. This year, Open House will return to an in-person event! The evening is a great opportunity for parents to meet your student's teachers and hear a bit more about each course. For many, this may be your first opportunity to walk the building. A more detailed schedule will be shared prior to the event. We hope you will attend!

Homecoming Dance: Saturday, September 17

Central High's 2022 homecoming festivities are scheduled for the week of September 12. A separate email with details will be shared. In addition to class games, a variety of dress up days, and the pep rally on Friday, the HOMECOMING DANCE is scheduled for Saturday, September 17. All Central High students are encouraged to attend. Ticket information will be shared in the email.

Chromebooks: Update

For all returning PCH seniors, juniors and sophomores, please bring your district issued Chromebook charged and ready to go tomorrow!

For all students new to PCH, including all incoming 9th graders and upperclassmen, you will receive a district issued Chromebook. Unfortunately, the district is experiencing a shipping delay, which will push back our distribution date by a few weeks. In the interim...

For incoming 9th graders who attended a Parkway middle school last year, please bring your Chromebook from middle school charged and ready to go.
For students new to Parkway, if you have a device you can bring to school, please do so.

If you do not have a device to bring, that's okay; we'll adjust!

Building Procedures

Building Procedures: Students and parents, please review the updated procedures below.

Building opens to students at 07:00 am.*
AM: Students enter through Door #1 - Main Entrance (student drivers and students being dropped off) or Door #40 - Back Athletic Entrance (bus riders).
Students drivers are expected to park in the Main Lot or the East Lot and display their school issued 2022-2023 parking pass.
Breakfast available from 07:00 am - 07:30 am.
Classes begins at 07:35 am.*
During school hours, students arriving late, as well as parents and visitors are expected to check in using the main entrance.
Deliveries for students, including, but not limited to food delivery services, are not allowed during school hours (07:00 am - 02:30 am).
School dismisses at 2:30 pm.*

PCH 2022-2023 Athletic Passes Available

PCH Athletic Passes are available for purchase. Click the picture below for details and the link to purchase a pass. Passes are good for varsity football, varsity soccer (boys and girls), all levels of volleyball (boys and girls), all level of basketball (boys and girls).
