Congratulations to the girls' tennis team on a 2nd place finish at Division 1 UP Finals yesterday. Westwood won 4 of the 8 flights.

Hello all. The Marquette County Health Department will be having their annual flu shot clinic here at Aspen Ridge Library on Monday, October 13th. This will be for students and employees. The clinic will be from 12:30-3:30. Below is a flyer with more information. Consent forms are available in the WHS Office.

This year's theme is "Superheroes". The seniors have Batman, the juniors have Spiderman, the sophomores have Captain America, and the freshmen have Wanda Vision.

Dress-up days are as follows:

Monday: Pajama

Tuesday: Superhero

Wednesday: Class color day (Fresh are purple, Soph are white, Jun are red, Sen are black, and Teachers are blue)

Thursday: Teacher/Student Switch-Up

Friday: Red/White/Blue and Patriot Jersey

Wednesday, October 8th @ 6:00 pm - Powder Puff - $2 admission.

Friday, October 10th - Homecoming Parade - 4:30 pm start. Homecoming dance starts after the football game.

Float buidling started on Friday, 10/3 and goes until Thursday, 10/9. The floats and trailers need to be at the school for final construction by 6 pm on Thursday and need to completed by 8 pm that night.

The PEG Committee (Patriots Enjoy Graduation) will host its first planning meeting for the class of 2026 All-Night Grad Party on Oct. 9th at 6pm in the Westwood Media Center. We hope to see you there!

All school districts in Michigan are required to share the Sexual Harassment and Information Guide with students in grades 6-12. I have attached the information guide as and some additional informaton including the districts Title IX coordinator information and specific school policies related to sexual harassment and sexual assault.
