Welcome To Week 12!

Welcome To Week 12!
Week Twelve: October 30 - November 3, 2023

Dear Brahma Family,

The highlight of Halloween week at school will be the Halloween Haunted Maze. The Haunt is built and run by students in our Pathways Communications Academy. To get some inspiration and ideas, the students took a field trip to Knott’s Berry Farm where they met with the designers and builders of the mazes for Knott’s Scary Farm. The Halloween Haunted Maze will be open for students and teachers Monday and Tuesday during the school day. On Monday, October 30, it will be open for our Diamond Bar Community from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. the Halloween Haunted Maze is in our Gym. Come by afterschool on Monday if you want a scare!

Our volleyball team had its playoff run stopped Wednesday in a tough loss on the road. Congratulations for a great run through the playoffs to the CIF quarterfinals. Golf, Tennis, and Water Polo also made it to the CIF Playoffs and have contests this week and next week. The Girls Golf Team Divisional Tournament is on Monday and Boys Water Polo plays Sunny Hills on Tuesday. On Friday, our football team secured the Hacienda League championship with a one-sided victory over Ontario High School. The team will take on Orange High School in the first round of the CIF playoffs this Friday at home.

I hope everyone has a fantastic week!

Sincerely,

David Hong

Principal

HALLOWEEN ANNOUNCEMENT… HALLOWEEN ANNOUNCEMENT…

Welcome to the spookiest month of the year! Halloween is approaching and as always, we will allow students to show their Halloween spirit, but there are some guidelines we must follow to ensure student safety:

  • Students are prohibited from wearing costume masks
  • Make-up or face painting should be very minimal. Staff needs to still be able to EASILY identify a student wearing make-up or face painting. If your face is fully painted, you will be required to wash your face before attending classes.
  • Weapons, or replica weapons are not allowed
  • Costumes need to adhere to the school dress code and should not disrupt the instructional program during school hours.

If you have ANY questions regarding your costume, please see your GLC before Halloween for guidance or approval. Thank you for you cooperation Brahmas. We look forward to a fun and safe Halloween on campus.
