Happy New Year to our CCES families! On Monday, January 26, the second half of our student council members will start! I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the first group this fall. They presented some new and unique ideas. I'm looking forward to getting to know this next set of responsible student council members!

As the weather gets colder, please send students to school with appropriate outside clothing that are labeled 🧤 🧥 If you need assistance with providing warm clothing to your child, please reach out to the office.

What is a PAWS Parade?

Our PAWS Parade is a special celebration where students, staff, and parents line the hallways to cheer for students who have earned a PAWS Award for being Safe, Respectful, and Responsible. Students can be recognized by their classroom teacher, allied arts teachers, and *new this year* their principals! It’s a joyful way to honor positive choices and encourage our whole school community to live by our PAWS expectations.

This year we're going to adopt "Spirit Fridays" here at CCES. We would like to invite our students and staff to wear red, white, or blue to school. We will have a spirit wear order early fall available to anyone who would like to purchase! More info to come soon!

We have lots of missing clothing items looking for their owners! Please have your child check if they're missing anything!

Breakfast and Lunch will continue to be free for all students this year. If your child would like to purchase a milk, it will be $.50.

This year, our district-wide theme is Growing Purposeful Partnerships. Partnerships exist all throughout a district. Whether it's between schools and families, teachers and students, staff and community members, and among colleagues working together. Each of these relationships play an important role in creating the strong foundation our students need to thrive. As a district, we are committed to making these partnerships intentional and meaningful, ensuring that every connection supports the growth, success, and well-being of our students. We are excited to focus on this purposeful work together throughout the year.
