Principal's Weekly Update #37

Dear Wales Families,

REMINDER: Our student council thought it would fun to have some fun themes throughout June. Please join us in showing your Wales pride by participating!

3. Switch it up day: Students dress up like a teacher and teachers dress like the kids on Wednesday 6/18.

4. End the year by showing your school spirit on 6/25 by wearing your Wales Primary gear or wear Red & White!

Our second graders went on their fieldtrip to Hidden Valley this week- it was fun for all! Friday morning we celebrated Flag Day at Wales. Our students sang patriotic songs and our third grade students taught us the history of Flag Day!

There is no school on Thursday, 6/19, due to Juneteenth Day. We will have our annual field day on Friday, 6/20. For safety, only parents who are signed up with the PTO to volunteer can attend. In the event of a rainy day, we will move our activities inside. The PTO provides a hotdog lunch for all students on field day.

Have a great week and thank you for all you do to support Wales!

Happy June! We hope that everyone has a great end to the school year!

This is a reminder that when your child is absent or tardy, legally we must have a note with a reason, upon the child's return to school. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
