Sunshine Club Spotlight Sunshine Club Spotlight

What is Sunshine Club?

Our wonderful Boulder Creek Sunshine Club consists of Becca McKinnon, Amy Coots, and Rachel Martin. The Sunshine Club is all about spreading kindness, care, and cheer among our staff throughout the school year. We celebrate the happy moments—like birthdays, weddings, and new babies—and support each other during more difficult times, such as illness or loss.

Members contribute a small amount each year to help cover cards, flowers, small gifts, and treats. Together, we help make Boulder Creek a place where staff feel appreciated, supported, and part of a caring family.

Because sometimes, we all need a little extra sunshine. Here is the LINK to the information letter that goes over all the things Sunshine Club does.

Staff Detail Sheet

Please fill out this FORM at your earliest convenience. Once staff have filled out this form, the spreadsheet will always be live in this staff newsletter for you to refer to in case you need to spread some sunshine of your own.

Need to spread some sunshine?

If there is someone on staff that needs a little "sunshine". Please fill out this FORM and our sunshine club will spread some sunshine for that person.

Synergize

This month, we’re highlighting Habit 6: Synergize—the power of working together! At our school, students are learning that teamwork isn’t just about dividing up tasks, it’s about valuing each other’s ideas, strengths, and differences to create something even better together. Synergizing is a key step in leadership because it shifts the focus from ME to WE, helping students see that collaboration leads to greater success than working alone. You can encourage this habit at home by looking for opportunities to solve problems or complete projects as a family team. When we celebrate each other’s unique contributions, everyone wins!
