Decision of Respect

During Bullying prevention month, our students and teachers, commit to doing their part in showing respect on campus and towards other. Our goal is to promote an inclusive and positive environment where students feel acknowledged and accepted. Mrs. Rios (Taft's Associate Principal) and Dr. Baker (Communications Arts' Principal) started the day by being the first

to sign our Decision of Respect. Students also signed our Decision of Respect as well as had fun playing corn hole.

Unity Day

On Wednesday, October 16, we celebrated Unity Day. On Unity Day, we wear orange to unite for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion to send a visible message that no child should ever experience bullying. Counselors did a pop up where students wrote what respect means to them on a Croc and then they were given a CROC charm. Students also had the opportunity to work together as a commUNITY to solve a large word search.
