Enrollment Open for ASP, 21st Century Enrichment Programs
ASP
CCSD's After-School Program (ASP) is designed to provide a safe, relaxed, and enjoyable environment for elementary school students who might otherwise be left at home unsupervised during the afternoon. The program operates at all 14 of our elementary schools from school dismissal until 6 p.m. on the days school is in session. Activities include sports, recreation, arts and crafts, study and homework time, and a snack.
The cost of the program is $8 per day per child and $6 per day for each additional child in a family. There is also a $10-per-student registration fee for ASP, with a family maximum of $20. Schools will have an ASP registration table set up at their back-to-school open-house event next week.

The program serves students grades 6-8 at each of our four middle schools and elementary school students (grades 1-5) at three locations: Fowler Drive Elementary, Gaines Elementary, and J.J. PHOTOS: CCSD Welcomes New Teachers
This week, we were thrilled to host our annual New Teacher Orientation, welcoming approximately 140 educators including first-year teachers and those new to the district or returning to us from another district. It was an exciting day of inspiration with remarks from district leaders, 10 organizations on site to provide information about the services they provide teachers, and breakout sessions led by more than two dozen district curriculum content and building-level instructional coaches. We are excited to welcome all of these educators to the CCSD family and look forward to the great work they will do with our students!
