Dear Woodstock Families,
We are back in the office here at Woodstock! Summer break is over for Tabitha and me but we sure hope you are still having a full blown summer blast out there.
I am thrilled to be back as your permenant principal this year. This is an amazing community and I look forward to deepening our connections and continuing my commitment to growing, learning and supporting each other. I will share more about the vision and goals for the year at our Open House on September 23. If you have questions before then feel free to reach out. Please know that my door is always open to you. I learn best by knowing what is working, and I heartily welcome your conversation and positive input.
A few reminders:
- Class Placements will be available for families to view in ParentVUE on Friday, August 14th. Kindergarten families look for Ramp Up information and schedules in your mailbox next week.
- School supply lists can be found on the front page of our school website. You need to scroll down to the bottom to see announcements.
- If you plan to volunteer this year, be sure that your background check is up to date. We also have a new volunteer handbook (translations coming soon) that has all kinds of information to help you help us.
- The website calendar is up to date with many events happening this year, for those who like to plan in advance.

We are so sorry to share sad news that Mr. Warren Hatch has passed away. Mr. Hatch was a beloved community member and regular substitute in our classrooms. He brought his enthusiatic love of science, the natural world, and in particular BUGS with him every day he was here. He would always find a way to share his vast knowledge with students and adults alike. If you would like to learn more about Mr. Hatch's legacy, here is a linked article that Grant High School newspaper students wrote about him last spring. We have a copy of his book in the office if you are interested in learning about his passion. More information about how we will honor his legacy will be coming soon.

Update your student’s information online!
Each year parents and/or guardians are asked to review and update the information on file for their children (students). This information can be reviewed, edited and submitted online via PPS ParentVUE.
