School-Wide Knockout!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we dive into 2025 and begin Semester II, we want to remind you to check PowerSchool for your student’s final Semester I grades. If you need help accessing your account or retrieving your student’s information, please complete this form.

Winter Reminders

With colder temperatures here, please make sure your student is dressed appropriately with warm layers and proper footwear for outdoor activities. Also, for safety reasons, students should not be dropped off before 7:00 AM, as staff will not be available to open doors until that time.

Weather-Related Schedule Updates

As winter weather becomes more unpredictable, please review our remote learning and two-hour delay schedules. These will help ensure you and your student are prepared for any schedule adjustments.

February Break Reminder

Oak Hill Middle School will be on February break from February 17th–21st. We look forward to welcoming students and staff back on Monday, February 24th!

Join Our School Community

We love having families involved at OHMS! Whether you’re interested in volunteering, chaperoning events, or having lunch with your student, we welcome your participation. If you'd like to get involved, please complete a volunteer packet. You can find more details here: Volunteer Information.

Thank you for your continued support in making OHMS a great place for learning and growth. We are so proud of the progress our students have made so far this school year and look forward to what’s ahead!

Sincerely,

MaKayla Stevens
Principal, Oak Hill Middle School

Habits of Work

Habits of Work at Oak Hill Middle School are used to assess student's behaviors and expectations. Additionally, they are also used to determine eligibility for extra & co-curricular activities. This eligibility check occurs roughly every three weeks over the school year and students are required to have 2's and above on all habits to continue with their activities. Please see the attached image that displays each habit and how they are assessed.
