Principal Message

Happy Summer! I hope all Washington families are enjoying all that summer has to offer. A few reminders:

~ Progress Reports: The end-of-year elementary progress reports are in Infinite Campus and ready for your viewing. Here are the directions to view Elementary Progress Reports in Infinite Campus.

~ Save the Date & Mark Your Calendar: On Tuesday, July 22 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at East High School, we’re hosting a districtwide One-Stop Shop Event for families to prepare for the upcoming school year. This collaborative effort is designed to streamline access to key services and support. Liaisons will be on site, helping as needed.

Families will be able to get in person assistance to:

Enroll new students
Complete Online Census Verification
Submit address changes
Sign up for middle and high school sports (grades 6–12)
Apply for educational benefits
Register for ECFE and Community Education classes

We will have 15 Chromebooks available, with staff on hand to assist families with digital forms and sign-ups.

~ Summer PTO Working Meeting: We are planning a summer PTO meeting on Wednesday, July 9 at 5:00pm. We will be meeting at Pioneer Bank. Please join us if you are able, as we do much of our planning for the year at this time.

~ Fall Pictures: It's definitely not anything to concern yourself with at the moment, but some folks like to plan ahead. Due to the District 77 calendar change, Lifetouch will not be able to offer pictures at Entrance Conferences. They have agreed to offer a before-school picture day on Wednesday, August 20th from 7:00am-7:00pm. We recognize that this date will not work for all students, but we also wanted to offer a day before school started for those students and families who might be able to do pictures on that day. As the summer marches on, more information will be shared with the package options, the volunteer needs, etc.

~ The Washington Office will be closed June 19-August 3. Should you need anything, please don't hesitate to leave a voicemail or send an email.
