Principal's Message
Dear Wall High School Families,
Summer may be winding down, but things are ramping up here at Wall High School! We’re putting the final touches on our preparations for the 2025–26 school year, and I’m thrilled to share our first newsletter of the year with you. Inside, you’ll find important dates, reminders, and resources to help you and your student get ready for September.
Student Schedules
Student schedules will be available in Genesis on Tuesday, August 19th, at 1:00 PM. Please note that all required student and parent forms in Genesis must be completed before schedules can be viewed. You can access these forms, and the schedule, through both the parent and student portals (links are included below). Forms may be completed in advance and are available in both portals now. Please refer to the scheduling section below for a list of valid reasons for which a student may request a change of schedule as well as the process for requesting a change.
Summer Assignments & School Supplies
Students enrolled in AP courses have required summer assignments—please see the links below for details. All other summer assignments are optional. You’ll also find a link to the 2025–26 WHS School Supply List below to help you get ready for September.

Tuesday, August 19th - WHS Schedules Released
ALL student and parent forms in Genesis must be completed/acknowledged in order to view student schedules. Forms are live in the parent and student portals.
Valid reasons for which a student may request a change of schedule include:
An error or omission in data entry
Meeting a graduation requirement (seniors)
Course failures, which prohibit progress to the next sequential course
Successful summer school attendance allowing progress to the next sequential course
In order to honor, where possible, the student’s original course selection requests
Any student requesting a change of schedule must do so by Friday, September 12th. The dropped course will not become a part of the student’s permanent record. A student dropping a course after September 12th will have the course printed on his/her permanent record. The course will appear on the student’s transcript as either Withdraw Pass (WP) or Withdraw Fail (WF) based upon the grade at the time of dropping the course. This policy for changes will be followed at all times. Students will receive an email from Mrs. Misa, Director of School Counseling, with a form to request any schedule changes.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Genesis portal will also be used to communicate busing information. The busing information may not be viewable yet on August 19th. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding busing, please contact the Transportation Department at 732.681.7698

Guild of Creative Art honored Wall High School Class of 2025 Graduate
On August 3rd, the Guild of Creative Art honored Wall High School Art Department graduate Marisa Amitié, awarding her this year’s Guild of Creative Art Scholarship.
Marisa’s accomplishments during her time at WHS are nothing short of remarkable: she was named Art Student of the 1st Marking Period for the 2024–25 school year, won Best in Show at the 2025 Congressional Art Competition, was one of only two WHS students to advance to the State Teen Arts Competition this year, and received the prestigious Art Department Award—proudly wearing her medal at graduation.
This fall, Marisa will attend Messiah University to pursue a degree in graphic design.
Congratulations, Marisa! The Wall High School Art Department is incredibly proud of you and excited to see the amazing things you will create in the years ahead.

🍽️ Lunch Information
Message Regarding Doordash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, etc.
Please be advised, WHS will not accept food deliveries from services such as DoorDash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, etc. for students in our school. While we understand the convenience these services provide, they create significant disruptions within our main office. More importantly, allowing outside food/lunch deliveries raises concerns about the safety and security of our students and staff.
Please note: Parents and guardians are still permitted to drop off lunch for students who may have forgotten their meals. However, we ask that you coordinate these drop-offs directly through our main office to ensure a smooth process.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we prioritize the well-being and security of our school community.
Mr. Davis
