CLEARWATER STEAM NEWSLETTER

Welcome back, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful and restorative 3-day weekend and feel ready to dive into the week ahead.

This week we had a successful Math Night on Thursday, February 12th! A huge thank you goes out to our incredible Math Night Committee; Dr. Stuart for facilitating the planning and coordinating the team, Mr. Cantrell, Mrs. Vega, Ms. Alvarez, and Mrs. Cohenour for planning and engaging in the math activities. Cynthia Soltero, Linda Cousins and our amazing parent volunteers thank you for your hard work in transforming the MPR into such a vibrant and engaging Math Festival. We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to all the parents who attended and supported our students' learning.

Finally, a huge congratulations to Ms. Cohenour’s class and Ms. Baly’s class for achieving the highest percentage of attendance for the event! It is wonderful to see such a high level of engagement from our school community.

We are excited to share that parent registration is now open for the Spring STEAM Camp, scheduled for April 6–10, 2026.

This year’s exciting theme is Locomotion and Leadership, and we are looking forward to engaging students in hands-on learning and leadership development activities throughout the week.

Spring STEAM Camp will be offered at the following locations:

• Railway Elementary School

• Innovative Horizons Charter School (for Innovative Horizons students only)

Program Details:

• Breakfast: 7:30 a.m.

• Spring STEAM Camp Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

• Bussing: Transportation will be available for students

Families will also have the opportunity to enroll their students in the Elevo After School Program during Spring Camp.

• Elevo Hours: 12:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Enrollment Information:
Applications for both the Spring STEAM Camp and the Elevo After School Program must be completed through the 6Crickets enrollment link through scanning the QR Code located on the flyer.
