Dear Spring Lake Families,

As we step into April, we hope everyone has an enjoyable and safe Spring Break. Looking ahead, there are several important dates and events we want you to mark on your calendars. Please take a moment to read through this newsletter to stay informed about what's happening at Spring Lake Elementary.
1. Online Registration for the 2026-27 School Year: Registration for the 2025-26 school year opens on Monday, April 20th for all families currently enrolled in Nebo schools. Please log into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal to complete your annual registration. If you have trouble accessing your parent portal, please contact our front office (801-465-6070). If your student will not be returning to Nebo for the 2026-27 school year, please notify the office.
2. End-of-Year Testing: A friendly reminder that end-of-year testing will commence this month. These assessments are helpful in giving feedback to teachers and in measuring student progress and ensuring that they meet grade-level expectations.
3. Class Placement Information for the 2026-27 School Year: Administration and teacher teams work closely together to determine class placements for the school year. We balance many different dynamics and have much to consider as we work to ensure the best fit for each child. We do not accept teacher requests; however, if there is any additional information to be considered , please fill out the following form (one per child). Filling out this form is not a guarantee of placement in a specific class.
4. Kindergarten Roundup Assessment on Monday, July 13, 2026: Parents of incoming kindergarteners are invited to sign-up for an assessment time. This assessment helps us prepare for the upcoming school year. We are excited to welcome the newest members of our Spring Lake family!
We appreciate your continued support and involvement in our school community. Together, we can make this a successful and enjoyable month for all our students!
