Everybody Always Discussion
CHAPTER 3: LOVE EVERYBODY, ALWAYS
“Love one another.” What is simple often isn’t easy; what is easy often doesn’t last.
Chapter Summary: Jesus told the lawyer to love his neighbor. By this, He meant everyone. Bob told the story of his family having a neighborhood parade each New Years Day and how they made Carol the queen. They showed love through hotdogs and TP-ing houses. Love really is finding ways to be in someone’s life.
Here is a pdf with chapter summaries and some questions that might help guide your discussions.
Grandparents Day Parking
Friday, September 4
Elementary teachers, please park at the soccer field so that we can provide closer parking for our grandparents. A shuttle will run from 7:00 to 7:30 and again from 3:30-4:00 so that you won't have to walk too far.

Reminders and Information
Test Calendar
Tests for 7th-12th graders should be scheduled on the calendar. Each grade level should have no more than two tests per day (one on Thursdays).
Building Relationships
At this time of year, one of the best things we can do for our students and parents is to ensure that they know that we are supportive. Here's a few ways we can do this:
- Praise students in front of others
- Email parents with a specific positive comment
- Schedule an in-person meeting to discuss how you are helping academically--especially for students you know you will need to help later in the year
- Comment on their outside interests
Teacher Convention | September 23-25
Make sure you have downloaded the Whova app and are registering for sessions.
Let Mrs. Lopez know if your transportation needs have changed.
