September Athlete of the Month

Congratulations to our September Student Athletes of the Month, Ronae London, Gretta Garrett, Kaihn Davenport and Marcus Lawrence.
Ronae London (JV Cheer, Nominated by Coach Reese): Ronae is new to cheerleading this year and has put her all into the sport. She is dependable, at every practice and on time, has good grades, and is a joy to coach.
Gretta Garrett (V. Softball, Nominated by Coach Garrett): Gretta is a freshman starting pitcher. As lead-off batter, she also leads the team in steals and base hits. Gretta is committed to Cedar softball and dedicated to bringing love for the game to her school.

Marcus Lawrence (V. Football, Nominated by Coach Dede Lattimore): Marcus exemplifies heart and dedication both on and off the field. I would describe him as a small dawg with the biggest heart. He leads by example with his positive attitude and determination. Marcus is always on time, works hard, and has excelled in a new position this season. His leadership and commitment make him a good role model for his teammates.

Kaihn Davenport (V. Cheer, Nominated by Coach Reese): Kaihn is a wonderful addition to our cheerleading squad. He is a natural leader and works so hard. This is his first year cheering, however it feels like he has been on our squad for years with his dedication and leadership.
