Dear Mindess Families,
As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to take a moment to express our gratitude for our wonderful school community. We are thankful for your continued partnership, support, and the many ways you help make our school a warm, welcoming, and joyful place for students to learn and grow.
We hope that the upcoming break provides time for rest, reflection, connection, and celebration with family and friends. Wishing you and your loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving and a wonderful long weekend!
We look forward to welcoming students back after the holiday, refreshed and ready for the exciting weeks ahead.
Warmly,
Kate Altman

SEL Corner - November 2025
November SEL Lessons
This month's SEL theme is Gratitude. Lessons will focus on appreciating the people, places, and things in our lives. Studies show that people who show gratitude live longer, have healthier hearts, and are happier.
In addition, we continue to develop Restorative Justice in our schools. One SEL lesson each month is dedicated to holding a Restorative Circle which helps build community, teaches students how to listen to each other, and support one another. Ask your child about the circles they have taken part in their classroom!
