Dear Bellerive Families,

I enjoyed meeting many of you at Popsicles on the Playground and look forward to seeing everyone at our future back-to-school events. Please mark your calendars for our upcoming events, including Donuts with Dr. Kneer on Friday, August 9th. (An RSVP is requested.)

Bellerive's website and Digital Family Hub are updated for the year. The Digital Family Hub is designed to be a one-stop-shop for all your need-to-know information about Bellerive including School Supply Lists. It may be helpful to bookmark the Digital Family Hub for future reference. You also will find the link to the updated Family Handbook. This is a great resource to review as a family. Parkway's Back-to-School Family Resource Guide is another great resource to help you have a smooth start to the school year.

New this year is the Bellerive Family Calendar. This calendar is located on our website and contains all the important dates for the year. Pro Tip: You can load this calendar into your personal electronic calendars, and it will sync as updates and changes are made. Click here for the easy steps to sync your calendar with Bellerive's calendar!

The Bellerive Staff is gearing up to welcome you and your children to the 24-25 school year! We have a fun school theme that we are excited to unveil at Meet the Teacher. August is an exciting time of the year! Please reach out with any questions.

UPDATES & INFO UPDATES & INFO

School Supplies School Supplies

Please click here to access the School Supply List for 24-25.

  • This weekend is Missouri's Tax-Free Holiday. Please click here for more info.
  • If you ordered supplies through the Impacks supply box program, those will be delivered to your child's classroom.
  • Students participating in Essentials Skills classes should contact their Special Education Case Manager, Mrs. Kelly Waller (kwaller@parkwayschools.net), before ordering or purchasing any supplies.

Counselor Assignments for 24-25 Counselor Assignments for 24-25

Having two full-time counselors is new to Bellerive, and there have been a few questions about how and why the counselors are assigned their caseloads.

These are their caseloads for 24-25:

  • Svetlana Bigott - Grades 1, 3, 5
  • Lindsay Knowles - Grades K, 2, 4

With this configuration, the counselors will rotate grade levels with their students. This allows students to have the same counselor for their entire time in elementary school!

  • Svetlana Bigott will be the 1, 3, 5 counselor for this upcoming school year, but next year (25-26) she will be the K, 2 ,4 counselor so she continues to work with the same students as they go to the next grade.
  • Lindsay Knowles will be the K, 2, 4 counselor for this upcoming school year, but next year (25-26) she will be the 1, 3, 5 counselor so she continues to work with the same students as they go to the next grade.
The counselors will switch back and forth every year between grades K, 2, 4 and 1, 3, 5 so they are always working with their same cohorts of kids!

Here are the directions for accessing DreamBox from any device:

  2. Google "Parkway Clever".
  3. The student can then access Clever using their user name and password (again.)
  4. They will then have access to all Parkway Apps (except Savvas).
